Hey guys, painted my front 2 calipers this weekend, I dont know if i like how the paint matches, i might have to go get an exact match at a paint place. Also wheels came in the mail, BUT i couldnt get tires on them this weekend so its ganna have to wait...

 

hm. seems.. okay? maybe its just the pic.. i see one lug isnt matching!

 

thats the unique lug that makes it so nobody can steal my awesome chrome rims!!! lolz, jk about the awesome part, they will be gone soon. but yah, its the unique lug. And it is the pic, it doesnt look too good, i might see if i can get a paint place to mix me the right color

 

oh i wasnt too sure if it was, you cut it out just enough in the first pic to make it not seem like that, but i can sort of see it now. seems like you're coming along but, I'd work on other things before you reach to the calipers, not yet at least, but too late now :P

 

What would you suggest? lambo doors are going nowhere, i dont think i can fix the door gaps cause of the lambo door welds, there are a lot of small cosmetic things i could do but those things dont show in photos here. I am also working on the "marbles in a can" issue with my engine, but nobody has sucessfully fixed that yet lol. I just like to hear what people suggest, I am still pretty new to the 8

and i dunno.. the contrast of the hood and the black on the front bumper just gets me every time.. no offense, at least you have an 8 haha.

 

I agree, I hate the hole too, I will be getting a new bumper/body kit eventually when i find one i like at the right price. Search the "marbles in a can" its a pretty mysterious problem, causes a huge loss of power, and people have tried everything to fix it with no luck... its a sad problem

 

way to bring it back to normal hehe... i like the blue, i couldn't find one so i got the green instead..

but i do have a question.. you say its an 04 with an 07 rebuilt motor, did they upgrade the trans as well (4sp to 6sp) as i know the late 05s/6+ have the 6port engines and trans got an upgrade for the autos... just woundering as its something i'm looking into.

They did not change out the transmission unfortunately... I would have loved a 6 port engine, I am planning on eventually swapping my engine and tranny for 6 port manual. So as of now, I have a 4 port engine with 4 speed auto trans

 

dood, i wrecked my 4 speed auto, and i test drove a 6 speed manual yesterday... changed my life. if you want, fix this one, sell it, get a manual with me! or keep the auto if its your thing, im not judgmental like everyone else

 

Well, i will try to fix it till i actually get to fix it, or October comes and I get my comitment loan from the military and then i can buy one, but then i need to find a place AND a lot of time to do the switch

but its more tealish. its funny though.. i was watching an episode of that show with the orange county chopper guys? forgot the name.. and they had a Giants (football) chopper they were making, and the rear fender came out kinda teal like that, and a true fan would notice the difference of that and the team's dark blue, so it seems like your car is going through the same thing :P
