So, looks like I will be removing the DUB emblems this weekend, thanks for the input on those. I am also looking into a gunmetal powdercoating the rims. What do you guys think?? (Also paint the metal on the CF hood, What if I painted the metal winning blue? any comments? )
So you could put money you make selling those toward buying new ones, and you wouldn't have to spend money on a powder coat... It probably wouldn't be much more expensive (if not less expensive actually), just to sell and get new ones than it would be to keep and get powder coat... Plus new ones would look better than powder coating those probably.

ok, so new plan. Should I get 18in rims (black) and then lower the suspension? the rims will have to come before the lowering, do you think it will look goofy with 18 in rims with no lowering?

I appreciate the criticism, i can handle it, im not much for arguing with people but i do appreciate the feedback, Always looking to improve. (even though according to some i might be too far to even recover) but the seat covers are because its winter and I dont want to damage any of the interior, just trying to keep it in better condition. And about the DUB emblem, I didnt put it there, and I might eventually remove it, I would rather have NO emblems on the car. Thanks again guys

yeah... I go to the air force academy, been through basic, i can handle these guys. I am just looking for improvements, which many people provide me with a ton of great information, just have to filter through the hate posts.
Hey, so you have blue interior LEDs, are they just replacements for the interior lights? or the ones that light up the foot area too? I was thinking about getting some. what sort of feedback can you provide?

yep, it's all about swapping them out.
2 map lights (not really recommended after me doing it myself, swapping these out making it damn near impossible to see around you at night), 2 door lights on the door well door, and 1 dome light in the back. there are also 2 lights in the mirror, (but i wouldn't recommend swapping them out either, cuz all i saw was two bright spots but never my face at night lol)

I dont believe those are shinka ?
the shinka wheels are just a darker shade of that hyper silver color on the stock OEMs.
honestly, IDK how these got on my car, cuz its an 04, obviously, cuz its lightning yellow..
i heard the 04's were stuck with 16 inch rims lmfao
back to the point, I think Mazda makes them chrome plated as well, they're just rarer.
again, i got it that way, and i love them.
OP, glad you like em

You hate that it's auto. You state you like the rest. Now, you're asking suggestions on how to improve the looks? Why didn't you just get a stock manual??
You've been given a lot of advice (most ppl just get flamed!). But, instead of asking, do some research, find what YOU think looks good, and stick with that. Lots of good info to be found in these forums. Pick a topic, and I'm sure you'll find plenty of discussion and pics on it

i said i have seen stock 8s here in so cal with chrome stock wheels. obviously not as common as the regular light grey, but often.
the reason why i said i "have" seen them chipped is because a cousin's friend got a flat, and she had an 8 with chrome stockers. when they took off the wheel and put on a new tire, some of the chrome on the outer edge started to chip away. obviously this could happen to any wheel, such as curbing and other road debris. but having chrome stockers doesn't automatically = chipping.

and that must have been a crappy wheel place if it happened after that..
If it happens to mine, oh well.. The previous owner managed to ram every wheel into a curb.. And she caused that dent. Female driver

Hey guys, I did some work this weekend on the car. Let me know what you think. (I removed chrome emblems, and door handles, and painted the metal grates in the CF hood) (and i left the doors closed =p =p )
