Good job on picking up one. My first car was a 91 Chevy Blazer. It was a piece, but I loved it anyway. I got my 8 when I turned 20 and have been happily married to it for 3 years now. I was surprised how cheap full coverage from state farm was for the car, especially with a 20 yr old as the driver.

Be sure to listen to what the elders on here say. Don't street race, be a bigger man than those that try to tempt you. We'd be lying if we said none of us ever played with people before. Please don't be stupid and end up like some kids a few months back that ran the car off an overpass and died. *anyone have the link to that story* Take care and congrats again!

My first car was a '91 Nissan Sentra. It was awesome for beating up, I almost wish that I kept it, but I got in a fight with a guardrail on the highway and I lost.

I would just like to go on record as saying that this most likely isn't going to end well.

Got mine at 17. Just turned a year and one month of me having it and I have quite a few mods. If you wanna drive it fast, do it legally i.e. auto-xing. That's where the 8 really shines.

Congrats on the new car. You 16 year olds are damn lucky. My first car was a 1981 Corolla which was previously my sister's car.

How much is insurance? Must be at least $2000/year.....

If the car were in his name, insurance would be double that.

There is a great seller on eBay. He was selling them around $50 bucks.
