Real cool. The Rx8 making its name high on the top. I need to get that game, it looks like it kicks ***. And you guys know what I'm gonna be driving most of the time. Our beloved one! "The 8" Rotary/Rx8forLiFe!

It excites me to see a video game with LHD in-car view for the RX8. (Forza & GT5 being RHD)
It's also nice to see Need For Speed come out with a game that doesn't seem completely ridiculous for once. I think the last NFS I enjoyed was probably NFS Hot Pursuit... NFS II was a beauty as well but I still think the original was one of the best games of it's time. "Road & Track Presents: The Need for Speed" It had one of the sickest line-ups of cars as well:
Acura NSX
Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1
Dodge Viper RT/10
Ferrari 512TR
Lamborghini Diablo
Mazda RX7
Porsche 911 Carrera
Toyota Supra Turbo
For those who are hearing that people don't like "Shift" do you know if it's because those people preferred the their previous games such as Underground, MW, etc...? If it's those particular people who aren't happy with Shift, then i'd understand completely as they seem like they are world's apart from the type of game they prefer. (Realistic, as opposed to Flashy/Arcade, etc...)

I just shat myself
Yea I got a copy of that from The Pirate Bay, I was kind of disappointed really. The car looks good but I think the driving sort of sucks and like others have said the engines sound terrible in nearly every car. Perhaps I've been spoiled by Gran Turismo 5 Prologue. Cant ******* wait for GT5!

i picked this up on the weekend for ps3. i actually really like it. its by no means perfect. some of the engine souds are sort of weak i'll agree. but its not like the sounds are offensive, they just arent all that acurate. for intance, everything that is turbocharged seems to have a loud BOV, even stock. its kinda dumb in that respect, but where the engine noises fail, the tire sound rocks. its not like previous NFS games where you go around a corner and the tires squeal. these sound almost true to life. you can hear the tires ripping across the pavement when you push it too hard. big cars with alot of tire make different tire sounds than little toyota ae86s do too.
like i said, its not perfect but it is alot of fun. in fact the best NFS game in years IMO. no, not better than gt5P, but it'll keep me busy until the full GT5 actually comes out.
