xwingrx8 I am guessing you are not a photographer. That shot is not very flattering for the wing. Pretty much looks like a mug shot.
I think the shot of the silver gives a better view but lacks depth.
disclaimer: I am not a photographer but have done plenty of video work.
As for my thought on the wing I can imagine Truemagellen's insite being very true as the photos here don't do justice much like Mazdaspeed bumpers.
I liked the wing in the movie but it was a fit for cyclops. Not for me, I'll stick with my super duper stock spoiler (not really a wing, to those that refer to it as one).
The mod I would like to do from X-Men 2 is the phone out of the Bose head unit!
Did they show how to do that in the extras?

Even though the RX-8 has a more squarish outline than the Eclipse there are really no sharp angles on the car. I thought that would make the X-men wing a bad fit, but seeing the mug-shot from the back I can see the curve of the main body of the wing.... not bad, not bad at all. I may need to find myself a Winning Blue X-men wing (and a new Winning Blue trunk with no factor-spoiler holes).
At least it's not a park bench.

Ok it amazes me that no one has put a "quality" picture of the wing yet. My car is a little dirty in this picture, but it still shows off the wing fairly well. My reason for getting it are extremely simple, I drive a yellow Rx-8. Both of those scream "a little different". So I didn't want the spoiler everyone else had. Since my car didn't come stock with one, I HAD to have one as the trunk looks naked without it. And I just eventually fell in love with the look of it. Without futher ado, here's the wing.

I wonder if it was actually a joke when they started selling the Xmen wing. The highschool shop class that originally developed it would get together and laugh everytime they actually got someone to buy one. Worst spoiler ever!

I'm disappointed with the amount of negative posts on this thread. This guy was all excited about his wing, and while nearly everyone who posted here might hate it, thats no reason to relentlessly rag on this guy.
While I won't post my personal feelings on the wing, because it's simply a matter of taste, I'm sure I could come up with about 50 things I couldn't stand about your RX-8 or your particular taste in anything.
Communities are better when they include all facets of people, whether you agree with their choices or not. While you're certainly entitled to your opinion, as am I, thats no reason to write some of the flames I've seen here today. If you don't like it, then just move on.
/me gets off his soapbox.
