I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOO pissed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!!!!! I got hit by an 18 wheeler.

I was making a left hand turn in the left lane, last car, guy makes a right over turns clips me in the rear drivers side and proceeds to turn me diagonally. I was honking... rolled my window down and waving because he wouldn't stop!! Then the damn a-hole had the nerve to say that I was at fault saying i cut him off and that i was to blame. I got outta my car and needless to say i sent him to hell and back, called him a *** and a ref (all in spanish btw thats all he understood).

that sucks dude, kind of the same thing happened to my cousin in england....he was honking too and then nothing happened the truck driver continued to hit him

Those truckers never pay any attention, thinking that they are bigger they can push out anyone. Needless to say, I've had several close calls too(expressway). It so happens everytime it had happened to me I had space on the next lane and react like a freaking bullet!

But what the hell. This give you a reason to upgrade things(?) in your car if the trucker had an insurance to cover the damages!

I got dragged over a curb by an 18 wheeler once in my Jetta. They really can't tell if they hit you!

How ITH do you get hit in the rear LH corner by someone making a RH turn while your in the LH turn lane making a LH turn

OK some clarification

It's a Perimeter road next to the expressway. It's a sharp right under the overpass where it's 2 lanes under the over pass. One to go straight one to make a left hand turn.

When i made my right and got into the left hand turning lane i was the last one in line. He went to do the same thing but since it's a tight turn he has to make it a wide turn.... which he did. Except I WAS ALREADY THERE!!! Instead of waiting for me to go straight and him to finsih his turn.. he just kept turning.. thats when he hit me in the rear and spun me sideways.

I have better pics in my Cell but i need to get pics off of it and dunno how. Dont have software for it.

your tail light appears to have no damage whatsoever, while all the bodywork around it is smashed all up.

Sorry since my sarcasm was no where yesterday after the accident. Yeah i looked at it again and nothing did happen to it.

Although it may look like your lense is not damaged you should take a closer look at it. When I was rear ended (hit and run) the frame around the light bent and it cracked the taillight casing - needless to say I discovered this when it rained the next few days after - aquarium mod complients of the punk who hit me....

 

Well yes luckily my insurance company recommended i go to my friends shop. THANK GOD. She's going to appraise it for me and i should be back on the road soon enough. She's going to hook it up and make sure that everything gets done correctly.

At least my car is with someone i trust!

Seems to be about what happened. The bright green your car, grey the front of the trailer and the black line representing the middle of the 4 laner. I'm surprised there's no skid marks from your tires on the road, atleast from what I can see.
