Wow, absolutly love the sound of your car. Is that the RP Midpipe or the RP High-Cat Pipe?

I've been looking to get the RP High-Cat Pipe with Greddy SP2 exhaust, but don't know if it will be loud enough. Is there a difference in loudness between the RP Midpipe and the RP High-Cat Pipe?

yea, i think we explained it to you in your other thread. Midpipe has no cat so its going to be obnoxiously loud. I say you get an exhaust first, b/c you never know that alone might be loud enough for you.

i have the rp midpipe... has no cat i heard chrism's car since he has the b&b exhaust alone and it was pretty loud. i heard the greddy sp2 from kel's car and it sound low and throaty, very nice~ i'm very curious to know what the midpipe would sound like with the greddy sp2... but i'll tell u, when i first installed it (i installed both the rp midpipe and b&b exhaust at the same time) i couldn't bare the loudness and it was just TOO loud... even shifting at 2k... but i wanted to stick it out and drove about 600 miles and it really mellow'd out... it's still loud but it's sexy now and love it. hopefully i can get turbo soon but i donno if i would want the turbo to tone down my sound :D

Is the midpipe legal in NJ? Because in CA we will get a new butt hole torn if we have a midpipe with no cat. I'm like you, I love that loudness and I want that, but I do not want to get in trouble with cops and emissions and all of that. That's why I am wondering if adding the cat will really take away from the loudness that these pipes can give off.

I have the Greddy SP2 w/B&B midpipe and it sounds great!!! Not too loud at all. Low and throaty when you're idle and it roars nicely when you accelerate. Highly recommend if you want to go that route.

IMO you just won't get the loudness you want with just an exhaust. They sound good when you're hitting the gas, but not very loud otherwise. No cat is illegal here in TX but I plan on putting it back on for testing.

I installed the MS sideskirts and it took me over 4 hours to get both side on. There were three templates provided in the kit, as well as a long booklet of instructions. The templates assisted in the placement of the holes that needed to be drilled and everything lined up perfectly on the first try. Everything just snapped into place. I could have installed it with my eyes closed it fit so perfectly. There are a total of 8 holes that need to be drilled (4 underneath and 4 directly into the side)...I cant imagine even trying to do this without the templates. I didn't save my templates or I'd offer them up.
