Wow. This got active. For people who think they "cant" rock red tails on their color, think of every other car made since the 30's, they didn't care what color the car was, it got red tails. I think they look good on most colors. Would look stock, which to me is better than the clear.

I would love to debadge, but I haven't grown the ***** to drop $300+ to repaint the trunk after I fill the holes. Luckily the hood has a bunch of chips, and I want a lip, so I am going to get the front lip, paint it, bumper, hood, and trunk, after a full debadge.

I'm still working on the reverse light, but it should work out pretty well.

I think the red tails would look good on all the colors.

That's the best paint job I have seen. Unfortunately I have to agree with DeeDubb.

Red on VR, no way!

VR is unique and doesn't match with other reds.

And I can see where you're coming from, but I don't think its that big of a deal. Almost every other red car has red tails, and the reds aren't always exactly the same. Even Ferrari and Lamborghini, the high end cars. If Mazda had sold the RX8 with stock red tails, in the same paint colors they offer them now, you wouldn't have noticed or said anything.

And yeah, I thought about smoking them, but I have done that to the past few cars I've had, and wanted to switch it up a little bit. VR/smoked look good though.
