NY my new car powder coated stock rims





Got the car a week ago love how the powder coat came out !!!!

ya they are a little rough sorry but they came out great i will try to get some better pics up soon

i did not for get i got them done for free from a friend and i am planing on blacking them out when i get the emblem's on the car blacked out

I'm so glad I did not do this years back. Looks ok, but it seems so many are jumping on the bandwagon.

Dude looks good. Give me some better pics. It's def a better look than the stock silver color. Do you plan on having a Black and Blue theme?

I like contrast too.

Did a good job of painting those. Came out well.

Better pics would be nice but looks good get those center caps though! I had done this a little while ago and I put down my step by step process that I used. No pictures of how I did it just end results.

im kind of afraid to do that lol just because i might do a sh*tty job and ruin my wheels. have you gotten any chips on it when drivin at high speed?

None at all the clear coat does a good job protecting everything. I was also able to remove some curb damage I had from the previous owner and once fully painted it looked as if nothing had ever happened. It is not very difficult to do honestly, but I do understand your hesitation.

If you ever need any help or advice ask or talk to 05rex8 he is a pro at this stuff!

i no its far away but next week i am going to carlisle pa for one of the biggest car shows on the east coast and i am planning on taking advantage 0f my buddys digital SLR camera so there will be plenty of pics after this trip and if any one else is going hit me up with a pm

oh and rocktown07 is very right when he said that you dont have to worry about them chiping unless you hit the curb also my rims were very chiped up from the owner before and they came out great with no more marks on them ..

nice job!! i think im gettin mines powdercoated. im OCDish when it comes to doing anything to my 8.

having said that this project would take me 3X as long as it took you lol.

you could always take it some where and have it done in a day its not all that expensive

i was not aware alot of 8's were doing that i dont see many in my town and i had it done on my type s before this it def looks better on this car
