my new 05 Black RX8 GT!
I know it's been seen, but its MY car that im posting on here now
had 4 miles on it when i got it, now it has almost 2000 haha (i drive 800 miles a week for work)
So glad to finally really be part of the club
And yes, thats me using a leaf blower on my car right after a wash, it works wonders blowing out all the water that hides in cracks and stuff, (makes using the shammy LOADS easier, and i dont have to worry about the first time i take a spin in my clean car about the water being blown onto the super clean black therefore messing it up)
Cheers
Jeff

LOL! Holy cow. First of all, welcome to the club and a great looking 8 you got there! Second of all, please shrink the size or take clearer pictures.

Congrats on the car!
Are you planning on any mods?
I would highly recommend clear corners, they look awesome on a black RX-8.

Welcome and nice pictures. It's good to see you taking care of the car already especially since your putting so many miles on it . I see you with the leaf blower there drying the car. I used to use that also until I realized it didn't do all that good and it just chased the beads of water around in circles. You should try a waffle weave microfiber towel for drying - it'l save you a lot of time .

about the gas, I get paid $0.485 cents for every mile I drive soooo, i dont have to pay for gas, tee hee. It actually factors in maitenance too, i go about 260 miles a tank, thats $126.00 dollars, minus the 40 dollars it takes to fill up so thats 86 dollars in my pocket for maintence (or to put towards the huge *** car note)
to reply to flawless, I realize it chases some of the water around, what i use the leaf blower for is to blow the water out of all the cracks and crevices (door seals, trunk lip, front grill etc so when i actually do drive around it doesnt get blown out from the real wind and leave watermarks) and then go over the whole car with a one of those smooth soft lambskin shammy's.

welcome to the family and congrats on your new 8! nice pics!
i learned the hard way about all the water that the rear tails hold... kept bumping them while buffing wax and it would start leaking water...
here's to many happy miles in your 8!
