You're on! I could use a summer break right now... Friggin' -30 wind chill yesterday morning.
I think I'm going to try the cheap-o grill treatment and see how I like it for a couple days... I love the fact if I don't like it, it's just $10 & temporary. Since you're nearby maybe I can help you with you're when you're ready. Maybe we should start a suburbs-really-damn-far-from-chicago RX8 club : )

Hi success07,
nice pics!
Do you mind if I post some *** photoshoped images of your car *** ? It would look really great with only mazdaspeed type body side molding.
Thanks.

Cruz - That would really cool if we could put something together like that. It would be the mother of all road trips that's for sure!
Maximus - Please do, I think that would be great! Can't wait to see how they will turn out!
Jerry - I have the hood, fender, front bumper, aero, mirror, and light kits being applied this Fri. morning. I will repost with pics of the completed project hopefully this weekend. Weather Pending of course. In Columbus, you never know what'll happen.
I'm glad everyone is enjoying the pics. :D

Noah - 'ATC IV' are my initials - I'm fourth generation from Italy - My father, 'ATC III', bought those plates for me when I turned 16. (14 years ago for those who are counting) - I didn't like them at first but over the years they grew on me - After he passed four years ago I decided never to get rid of them.
Maximus - Great job on the photoshop! Looks really good! Any other tricks up your sleeve?!?
Zoomerx8 - Nothing to the interior as of yet. I am very happy with it the way that it is. Though a single amplified ten in the trunk isn't outside the realm of possibilty. :D

Maximus - Nice work!
I really like both looks - I don't think that I would change what I have now but if I had the choice at the beginning I may have gone with solid one piece, if it was available, instead of the two piece. Who knows, though?

FairladyZ - Thanks for the compliment. Have you had an opportunity to check out the colors of the RX8 up close? Every color is quite amazing, especially in the sunlight. The internet doesn't do these colors justice at all. They are much more awesome in person.
I had never considered yellow before this car. Not even close but the first time I saw the RX8 in yellow, I was hooked. It was a different yellow from the ones that I had seen before. There isn't as much orange in it as compared to the others that I've seen. Swing by a Mazda dealership on a sunny day and check out the colors I know you be impressed.

Is that etched in stone, Jhouse? I remember someone mentioning that it was going to be discontinued in another thread but I haven't heard the official word. Anyone hear any different?
If they did, I wouldn't be that crushed because it would make mine that much more exclusive. I remember that the dealer told me that they were only getting 7 out of their first 115 RX8's in yellow. Mostly Titanium and Red from what I see on the lot.

Just like the FD.......Yellow was a hot color. Then they killed it.
Funny it seems everybody wants a yellow one, but they never actually buy one. Like myself. I love yellow, but didn't want to attract all the cops.

Great pics. Thank you very much for posting. I have the same configuration in red, but thought about yellow and blue also. Although I love my red 8 and have no regrets, you can't go wrong with the yellow either. Sweeeet!
Great photochop also. Seeing the side to side comparision, I am very happy that I went with the appearance with front mud guards instead of the speed side piece. The speed is OK, but as some people as called the look of the 8 as "bubbly", the out-in-out of the guard/appearance adds to the bubbliness IMHO.
