Here she is, its a little dirty in these pictures but i wanted to post something. The wheels are new. They are 18" Falken Circuit Specs. Ive still got the factory tires on the front and a 245/40/18 Falken tire on the rear.

I like those rims. I think it's just me but multi-spoked rims always scared me (seems flimsy to me). how come the pics were so grainy? High ISO setting?

 

we took the pics while it was drizzling out and i just grabbed the camera from my graphic designers desk and didnt pay attn to the settings. Ill have some better pics here as soon as my new wheels come in

 

Nice 8, sweet choice for wheels. Gunmetal looks good on yellow.

 

thanks, i like the wheels but im excited to see what the new ones look like, black with a chrome lip. the GM just isnt dark enough i dont think

You plan on doing track work?

 

id like to do some track stuff. In fact i would love to hit a road track on a regular basis if i had one near me. I just want the teins so that when i do get to the track im prepared and when i hit the country roads it will handle a little better. Any suggestions for suspension set up, or if i add the tiens and sway bars will it be about as much as i want for daily driving

 

I plan on eventually doing some track work with my 8, so somewhere along the line I'll get some coilovers.

In the meantime though, I've got H&R springs on mine which drop it 1.0" and suit the standard shocks pretty well.

I'm going to add some swaybars front and rear some time over the next few weeks so that should be enough to satisfy my street driving.

 

Already saw that post when I was on the Protege board. :-) Looks good though!
