looks cool, but theres a bit of potential risk there.... you don't seal up that headlight housing proper and you're headlamps will go to hell.....

Hope you sealed it nice and tight oreo

PS - From what I have seen so far I think it will look superb,
Here, I found this thread which gives a little description of the three main types of angle eyes. Demon Eyes (DDE) was the name of a company who made halogen angel eyes, see them at the bottem of the page.

I've never been fond of borrowing styling cues from another car. I have a BMW. I upgraded from pre-angel eyes to angel eyes on that BMW because they look nice. But I'd never think of putting it on a non-BMW. My two cents.

I agree... to me the angel eyes are sorta the trademark on BMW cars especially the 5-series. That reminds me, time to put some on my e46

rx8spiritR, I think you're trying to be sarcastic but I can't make sense out of what you're saying. Xenon headlights, electric seats, auto-dim mirrors and nav are features, not styling cues.

Just like how Honda was the 1st to come up with the variable valve timing engineering, "VTEC" and other all copied yes, even BMW they call it double vanos

eh, moral of the story is, "id think it would be wrong putting variable valve timing in any other car other then a Honda. My two cents

no...if you reach behind...remove a bulb housing you can poke your finger in there

these headlight housings can be removed...baked and seperated...very interesting idea I must say

there is other things you could do though as well

This is what happens when people search and reply to the topics they found. It's this or the perennial new thread + "search please" reply + sacastic comments + mod closes thread

:D

On topic: A bay area VR RX-8 (alex's) had angel eyes installed one time. I don't know if he still has it on his 8. They looked really nice on the pics!

Visually it looks menacing, and overall doesn't look bad...but I share the opinions of some of the guys here, Angel Eyes should only belong on BMWs just as much as kidney grills.

The argument for VTEC and Vanos is valid, however it's a technology that serves a function. Automaker have been copying R&D from other automaker's R&D since the inception of the first car. The key thing is that those technology serves a functional purpose. The angel eyes are on BMWs for aesthetic purposes, and have become a bimmer signature like the kidney grills.

I guess I'd think differently if it wasn't for all the kids with the Civics and Neons with them already. Oh well...A for effort!

I actually did that on my car about 6 months ago. It came out pretty hot. I'll try to find the pictures of them when i get a chance.

These aren't LED.
We have the rings that are required for this, but we simply don't have detailed instructions for the car.

If a brave soul wanted to make up some instrutions, they'd be getting a pretty sizeable discount for their troubles:D
