My 2004 RX8

I bought the car last fall and drove it for a few weeks before storing it for the winter. I just took the car out of storage last week and have started to get it ready for the summer.

I painted the rims gold as well as added a Turbo XS midpipe and catback. I am also color matching the emblems with the rims. I hope to finish the emblems as well as the center caps tomorrow.

I got the car waxed tonight, but as soon as I can get a polisher I need to clay, polish, and rewax the car. The paint needs some tlc. (I am very picky!)

I am hoping to have the car on the road next weekend. After that I will be bringing it to get a windshield banner done. I am going to do black background and mazda in a gold that matches the rims. Then I will also be tinting the car. Thats all the plans until I can get some more cash together then I will be getting a AEM intake, short shifter and a cobb access port.

Not feeling the gold wheels, sorry. To each, their own is what they say.

Not everyone will like them I understand, all comments welcome! I wouldn't mind some more comments about the banner, not to sure if I want it or not.

I like the way the rims came out, sometime different and I love the sound of the exhaust!

good start!

I'm not a big fan of the banner but if must have one, don't put "MAZDA" as I feel like it is too plain. Maybe put something small and centered across the top like 3 rotors (or 2 in this case lol) something similar to what angeljoelv has on the bottom of his mazdaspeed bumper

I think they look good. And well done, also!

Banner's aren't my thing. But, I don't think they look terrible, either (It should flow with your car, too ie- not a random brand name)

Here are some updated pictures. The emblems and center caps are done and on as well the car has a coat of wax. I think I am going to try and pick up a polisher soon and see if I can do a full detail on the car.

I can only get the pictures to insert as a url. I cant get them to show up. If someone can explain to me I will edit this post and fix it.

Thats what I was trying before. They dont show up for me. Here they are done like that anyway to see if you can see see them like this.

Edit: For some reason they wouldn't work when they were uploaded through imageshack, so I re uploaded them all to photobucket and they appear to be working.
