My 1st HDR picture. More to come.

I do not understand HDR. I have made a couple using 3 and 5 exposures. I just don't undestand what I'm supposed to do with it once I merge to HDR.
With your photo, the car looks kinda neat but it's all overexposed with highlights and the background/environment is all fubar'ed. Is that what it's supposed to look like?

Basically you're looking to get the picture as close to "real life" as possible in terms of what the human eye can see.

I like the second picture more. The bricks and driveway look almost 3 dimensional.

Cool pics... Ive been meaning to try this as well for some time. How difficult was it to put them together? I especially like the way the 2nd one turned out

Nice work on the second photo, I've been testing the waters of HDR with my new Canon 50D hoping to get some up once I find something worth shooting. Which program did you use photomatrix??

I won't quote that because your pic is enormo-big-obese-astic.
BUT...do you know the process on taking HDR photos? If not then I suggest going through a simple tutorial I found on google to get you started...and then from there it only gets better/more technical. Photomatix makes it a breeze though.
I will start off by asking if you took at least 3 different pictures in 3 different exposures? Note: Take a look at some of A. Mair's incredible HDR pics in the Photography thread. Here is mine...its big too!!!!
