MSNG (no, nothing to do with microsoft!)
(Warning, not for the faint of bandwidth, some big pics below)
Decided to take the Mazdaspeed step and got myself a front bumper. I'm not a big fan of side skirts in general, so I decided I stick with my aero flares, add some front splash guards, and call it a day.
Alot of you old RX'ers know Rick's Rotary Performance in California. He was able to get the parts for me waaaaay cheaper than anywhere else (he's not big into parts resale, he's focused on service), and did the install clean as can be.
Unfortunately, after spending a sunny day catching up the bumper with Zaino Z2, then adding another two coats of Z5 all around, the clouds moved in and I couldn't get very good pictures. Here's a handful I snapped off anyway, let me know if you like the aero flare + splash guard + MS front. It's a wee bit different than I thought it would end up looking, but I still like it.
(Added clear corners at the same time, love em)
(That plastic liscense plate mount piece either has to go or maybe gets a tasteful Mazdaspeed sticker?)
(Zoom zoom)

Yeah, factory fog lamps with the MS fog lamp brackets. As I didn't do this install, I was not aware of just how the brackets worked out, but it ends up that it's a little bit of a pain in the butt, not just a screw in/snap on solution, but one that requires cutting.
The other thing that's a little weird, the rubber that goes around the under side of the oil coolers (if you've played around in that area you know what I'm talking about) has aged different on either side of my car. If you're planning on getting a Mazdaspeed front bumper, do it soon! If you let the hot air down there get trapped around the rubber and age it faster, it is noticeable once you open up the face so you can see that rubber behind the mesh.
All in all I'm still super happy with the results.

I think I prefer no Mazda logo on front. I forget if the Mazda logo on the regular front is posted or not. If it's just stuck on with adhesive, I guess it wouldn't be a problem to move it from the old bumper to the new one, but I think a small Mazdaspeed decal where you're supposed to drill holes for a liscense plate frame appeals to me more.
I think the only other exterior mod I'm interested in in the forseeable future is the MS wing, so I'll be focusing on performance and electronics mods now, fun fun.
Hopefully we'll have some good sunsets this week so I can get some better pictures.

The Mazdaspeed bumper actually comes without the Mazda emblem.
I still have all three emblems on the back. I wouldn't mind taking off the Mazda and the Mazda symbol emblems while keeping the RX-8 emblem, but of course those are the only ones with posts. I'll get around to that task a bit in the future most likely. Money and time is being concentrated on electronics now.
