Most Eccentric
Got these shots today after tearing up the track at Grand Sport Speedway for their Open House, with IRL being there to test some new drivers...

I hadn't thought of car racing pictures as being eccentric before seeing that other track photo posted here. Well an 8 next to an Indy car is certainly unusual if not eccentric!
_________
edit: fixed the name of the track

CS, after the racetrack action today I went down to the airshow in Galveston and found a live Hurricane. Too bad they didn't let me close enough for a photo op with my 8!
In case anyone was interested in the Air Force One scene, here are some pics (couldn't get my 8 past the attack dog!). It was a perfect opportunity to exercise the amazing power of my superzoom Olympus SP-550UZ...

Here's a better contrast of the spectacular range of this camera's lens:

There aren't any 8s in those pictures, so I decided to just leave them as links. I actually did have an opportunity to park closer to the fence and I could have gotten a photo of my 8 with Air Force One in the background, but if I had taken the time to do that then I would have missed a bunch of other photos with the astronauts.
It was a glorious week at the racetrack. A perfect opportunity to get some crazy fun pictures of my 8 with the ChampCars. By a bizarre coincidence, one of the cars was painted in "winning" blue, bearing the number 8 no less... Get a load of this!
