The Saturday 9/16 Night Cruise produced some great photos. Sorry, no RX8's (including myself) were able to attend.

This one is taken along the north side of the Chicago River.

JGTCA stands for Japanize Grand Touring Cars of America. I believe they were using that before the racing series started and I don't believe that they are using JGTC anymore.

No photoshoppery needed, that's good ole' cheap but effective sodium lamp light. It's all over Chicago. Sometimes it can be fun, but others it can be annoying (wreaks sheer havoc on orange and red cars).

Do the JGTCA.com people realize that the GT in JGTC is referring to real race cars... not just a street car with some mods???

The naming is merely coinicidental (especially since many of the types of cars in the club are campaigned in SuperGT) and now any comparison to SuperGT is really irrelevant. (There *was* a racing series called JGTC before but it has been SuperGT for a few years now.) Now as far as "street car with some mods", look up what homologation means to folks in WRC and SuperGT or even certain classes of LeMans sometime

JGTCA = Japanese Grand Touring Cars of America... sooo JGTCA is merely an acronym. We've since expanded to include RWD and AWD cars of all types (e.g. American and European) and are a part of the NOTFWD.com club.
