it looks like any engine install.. it is only fun when it is done.
would love to know wtf happened with that oil pan.. even in the small screen it is ugly..
i hope this is somehow condensed.. i have not done a swap of a rotay yet..

The Dumbasses in the camera right now are Jeff and Todd (Flashwing). I'll be back out in a second. Then there will be three dumbasses

Yeah, I'm gonna down a Monster, take a quick nap and finish dressing the new motor.
The pan was probably mangled by the yard when they pulled the motor.
Probably more like they pulled the car from the motor - with a fork lift.
The rest is extremely pretty.
I'll get you some better angles when I start back up. Probably 4am PDT.

I would keep going, but I got up at 4am for some reason, so some nappy time after 20 hours is probably a good idea so I don't do dumb thing like leaving a wastegate line against the turbine.
I've got until 3 pm tomorrow (my own self-imposed deadline), so there is no rush.
Pump resistor fixed my pump flake-out after high temps.

Fun stuff, I was glad I got a chance to check out the new motor off the tranny. I wanted to stay but I too have been up since 5am so I'm pooped.
I love the "taking a break" sign. Hopefully if someone runs in and steals a turbo someone will be watching! This was a great idea Jeff, there needs to be more stuff like this on webcast.
I hope I didn't scare anyone...there's a reason I don't take pictures of myself!
