I saw a 1st Gen RX7 in the Australian movie called The Nugget ( http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0278597/ ). It didn't sound like it still had a rotary engine in it.

 

/\ - the sound editors probably don't know any different. (movies are shot w/o sound. added much later after editing.)
If I was a sound editor I would make every car sound like an rx!

Please note, I got a 9 year old. Movie is Ben Ten, Alien Swarm. Big deal in the movie about the Dodge Challenger. They gave some away. The one in the moved ended up in pieces, kind of like a certain set of wheel well liners... Anyway, the "new" car, for Ben, is a modified 8. I looked for about 10 minutes, but could not find a picture.

 

The RX8 Is also in Forza 3 and I think its in Forza 2 aswell.. Video Game..
