I'm disappointed of the interior colo(u)rs. The red is too bright and the tan looks old fashioned in such a revolutionary car.
That's leaves only black/black leather left or black/grey fabric...
No modern light blue, no magnolia, no light grey...
That would be better...

Thanks elisemk1 for these images
I aggree that the red is a little to bright (of course I'm sure it will look different in person) ... I sort of like the black cloth with grey inserts ...
I can't wait to actually sit in one! :D

Translated the article
Here's how Babelfish translated part of one of the captions:
"The largest feature of the RX-8 being the pillar less after all, must have 4 doors which are called the freestyle door of the Merciful Goddess opening in both sides. "
I wonder what my local Mazda dealer will say when I ask if the Freestyle Door of the Merciful Goddess is standard or an option.

I've heard talk the front seat seatbelts are going ot be anchored to the seats instead of the door. Is this still accurate? All the photos in this set show the seatbelts anchored to the door. Not a big deal but it looks like you'd have to take it off for people in the back seats to get out.
