Well, it's been great bein a part of all of this but my 8 decided to lose compression therefore needing a new engine. Don't really have the money to do all that so figured I would post up one more pic.

It's going to be for sale, needs new engine for sure....

 

Sucks hear you are having to get rid of it. You should have planned for that, replacing engines is part of rotary ownership.

What rear do you have on the car. Are you going to consider a part out, or sell as whole?

 

For sale you say? Tempting being you localish and I have seen the car. Not sure I want another one and I'm sure she would kill me right now. Shoot me a pm it may be worth it on my end. I have a spare motor or a swap in the future for track duty.

Im in the same boat bro. My 8 has low compression on the front rotor. It drives fine. I still have warranty and im debating whether to put the money towards getting the engine replaced under warranty or ditching it for an evo x.

DO you still have warranty ??

 

Sorry to hear about the low compression. Anyway, that is one of the issues on the rx8, that's why some owners decide to part away...
