Laguna Seca - 5/31/2008
This was a very last minute thing - this event sold out very quickly and I barely squeezed in because someone else cancelled :D
It was quite an eventful day, starting off with some light drizzle in the morning that made Rainey Curve and the Corkscrew quite a handful. Rainey curve more or less feels like you're about to die because the camber changes mid corner and suddenly you have an insane amount of grip that you did not expect.
As usual, I had a ton of fun and funny enough managed not to spin out until the very last lap of my last session of the day
I didn't feel like paying $80 for 5 shitty pictures of my car on the main straight so these are as good as it gets...
Enjoy!

In other news, I discovered that the RX-8 sucks in air when you hit a corner hard at 1/4 tank of gas. Losing power in mid corner was fun* :icon_rolleyes:

The Ferrari driver was a turtle...I think he had just gotten it recently and understandably was taking it very easy - Laguna Seca is a dangerous track and I would do the same thing if I'd just dropped a quarter million dollars on a car.
All in good fun

And a somewhat longish, more boring video of "highlights" + 1 full lap...
