Ran a cross some car enthusiasts...in various stages as you can see, and one had a camera! Mine's on the fritz, so he was kind enough to take these.
The eyelids are Kei Office BTW.

Oh, the eyelids.. looking at the pictures all I noticed were the clear corners, until I read the last bit of your post.
Car looks good, though.... is the other 'enthusiast' the owner of that riced out honda in pic two?

THanks guysfor the kind words.... and to "Vampirilla and the other Tragic one". ( know this is all in jest ok)!
My son told me about a group of people that had started a local car club and I thought I'd check them out. Some had some nice bikes and a few nice rides, but they were 18-20ish, just starting out.....well Until the owner of an 02 black convertible Vette showed up with a damned LS1 in it! LOLOL They were drooling, and wanted to take some pics so I didn't mind. Decent photographer though..I have to admit that, and these aren't touched up.
Gr8lady they do nothing to the lights except for make them seem more focused. I have no problem seeing across a major highway at night as well as a 2 lane road. Sort of tunnels the light...and to me its actually better because it seems brighter on the road surface even with my brights on.

High as in Thick or high as in Non covering Razz. They are that new fiberglass material, thick yes, but sturdy. They will not come off unless seriously pried...trust me.
Most eyelids that I have seen are just a thin layer of whatever material laid/molded over the headlight. I've seen some that I actually did like, but nothing that comes all the way down and looks like it's apart of the headlight eye"lid'. These also actually have a small wing that fits underneath the hood to hold them in place so they can be lined up properly. I was quite surprised and pleased on the manufacturing.
I wish he'd gotten a shot from the side and above looking down the light so I could show you the curves in the lights and the way they are 'lidded' to look. It's pretty cool.

Tamas, I love it, but I love the Tigray too. Ya'll have such an easy time finding wheels and things to actually coordinate with the color....its taking me 2 years to finally find my wheels!

I got them through another forum member here, that went through someone else. As afore mentioned I'm on the look out for more. Lots of folks want these, but they are hard to come by and even more rarely sold.
