ЯX-8 actually I didn't pick the color scheme. I left that creative liberty to my body shop guy Kenny over at East Side Collison. Between him and Chrism they came up w/the color scheme and I am very pleased to be honest.
I basically told him listen I'm going for a VIP look. SO no silver at all. We were gonna do gold same concept...but after the guys discussed this is what I got and I am happy w/it. The vents on the cover were all Kennys idea. If you look @ Chrism's engine cover kenny did a hell of a good job on it so he looked at chris's while trying to figure out what to do to mine and the light bulb lite up and the rest is history. I trust Kenny 100% w/the deicisons he makes...he does excellent work and can't wait to drop my 8 off to him soon...

Actually the body shop (KEnny) & I had discussed color schemes...he understood I want soemthing not too sporty looking and more vip looking. we threw ideas around. The I ultimately told him make it pretty amaze me because I am going to give you HUGE props on line...so the pressure was onhim to come up w/something awesome. Chrism (my buddy) and kenny were talking throwing ideas around and then kenny decided to look at chris engine cover since he did his as well and thought about how to make mine a lil differant and great...
Whalla it is what you see now and yes i did put allot of trust into them and mainly in Kenny but he is that good....and chris knows my steez so they colabo'ed and came up w/it and I am extrememly happy w/it.
Much props to Kenny and his crew @ East Side. So anyone who is interested and wants to go to him by all means holla and i'll get u the info...we got a guy from CT that drove down for his services...and I have nothing but confidence that he will be a happy man when he picks up.

I've wanted to paint my car that exact color since I bought one in Forza and painted it that color in the game.. That is sick. I want to get orange base coat, copper metallic flakes and pearl clear-coat.

p.s have kenny paint that too j/K and thanks for driving down here I will make sure to tell Eddie to give you a little bit more elbow grease when waxing it for you.
as for me kenny hasnt seen much action form me since I longer plan on modding the car.

Art I was the same way when I dropped off the 8 for the body work. Then I felt the same way when i left the engine cover especially since i had no clue what i was in store for....
But when you get it you'll see right away it was well worth the wait. Kenny is absolutely great at what he does and his staff deff puts in the work as well.

LOL...Kenny is going to become wealthy over night litterally w/all the mazda clients he gets, lol.
I'm actually conteplating delaying the rims a bit longer and finishing off the exterior but we shall see how I feel, lol. I want wheels bad, lol.

clav nah bro it isn't gonna follow into the cabin, lol...I'm keeping it VIP. The engine is just a lil something to gain interest at shows.
