Kei Racing - Velocity 19" installed

Need to clean up the goo around the edge of the rim/tyre but very happy with the end look. Think they suit the car better than my old ones - would have loved a set of the Volk equivalents, but couldn't justify the ADDITIONAL 2000 UKP they would have cost!!!

Anyway I like, and the 19"s fill the arches much better. Let me know what you think ?

I cheated... while my car was i with my bodyshop getting the rear de-badged I asked if they could paint the calipers while they had it - I'd bought some standard caliper paint and he said he could do better. I think its enamel based high temperature paint. Basically they took the entire caliper set apart and sprayed, then baked, put about 6 layers on I believe, did it to match the blue in the RB logo Only charged me for the labour, which was sort of covered by all the other work they were doing at the time. When I had the wheels off you can see that he really did take them apart as the backs, and the whole assembly unit are painted... Probably not the answer you were wanting but well worth the expense!

I like those wheels, and good color choice on the car. :D

But what is wrong with the stickers on the back door of your car, they are blurry, almost like they ha been added into the picture?

Probably cause the photo was taken at 5M, actual size of 2600 odd pixels reduced down to 800 for easy viewing, plus the car is *FILTHY* - another advantage of the grey - doesn't show it. Also each time I wax it leaves a white border round the edge of them

I'm trying to get my oil guy to get me a smaller, black 'OPIE Oils' decal, as I don't like the contrast of the white... but as he's sponsoring me (via the oil) then I can't take it off yet...

Here ya go, cropped from the full size pic (you can see the border round the RB especially - makes it fuzzy even at this size) :

nice wheels, a lot better than your old ones imo.

not a big fan of that gigantic veilside decal in the back, but other than that very well done!

They are 235x35x19, slightly lower than stock but within 2%

Not lowered at all as the clearance with INGs and Veilside parts is just enough to make it over most of the speed bumps we have here in the UK - any lower and it would be a problem.

I'm thinking of two options (will be removing the big black Veilside either way)

1) Going for a smaller one in two shades of gray, kinda drop shadow effect, with the top layer being almost same colour as body, shadow slightly darker grey - to give a kind of embossed effect

2) I have a 6" metal Veilside badge (got it free with my skirts) which may just go where the old RX-8 badge was.

Looks very nice. I would be happy with the final product as well. I'm glad you got what you really liked and could afford, regardless of the label on them. The style and look is the most important and the rim goes very well with the rest of your setup. I'm interested in pictures from the back if possible. I would like to see how the non-staggered setup looks like on your car. Thanks.

Got a discount from Veilside and INGs for agreeing to advertise.
Get ting my oil for free from Opie and he plans to use my car on his stand for shows and stuff.

As for offset, they are +45

Sweet car/wheels.
Whats up with those decals though? They look really photoshopped to me for some reason.

Sorry I don't like the center cap. Especially the red on it.

If your trying to match the stickers, it looks better. Stickers are not my thing.

The blue calipers are nice. Oh, the wheels, they're nice too.
