looks good, one of my taillights is broken but when I get that fixed this is a todo.

I would just want to try a light, light, tint. I hate smoked taillights. So do cops...

 

They may be illegal in California, but there are more than enough cars like that around here. I personally don't like it, would only look good on a darker car, but even then, RX-8 tails are so nice. I've had someone ask me where I got my tail lights and had a WTF moment when I told them it was stock.

 

Is all about personal discretion with cops. The RX-8 is very sporty/exotic looking car to a patrol cop (who prob doesnt know much about the 8, or cars in general). Due to this, blacked out lights look like they sort of "belong" or at least fit well with the type of car. Now, blacked out tails on a Civic will get much more attention from cops than the 8 would. You wouldnt see a cop pulling over a vette or a viper for blacked out tails...yes the 8 isnt quite on their level but you get the drift.

I have been pulled over twice in my car (my tails are blacked out very dark) and they havent even mentioned the tail lights, so...

 

Do you guys know if there are any upgraded stop light bulbs?I just had my tailights smoked and i need some more powerfull bulbs

$50 may seem pretty steep for some tail lights but you will thank yourself later when you have some killer tails.
