Just noticed something....
Look at the first picture..
Now look at the second one...
They are two different cars. Makes me wonder what else is different about them...
Anybody guess how you know they are completely different cars? No prize for this, just curious if anybody picked up on it.

If it's the same car then the coolest feature is being able to pull the steering wheel off and velcro it on the side you want!
Top one is US spec - bottom is European (clear side indicators too).

Being that they have two cars out there... I wonder what the other differences are We already know that the Europeans are getting 240 horses, the States are getting 250...

Anyone else thinks the first picture (the front end view) looks....well, fake, as in heavily Photoshoped?? Case in point: the side marker lights looked tacked on, and the whole front fasscia looks heally artificial. Just a thought......

Something does look odd about it. The top's left (car's aspect) front bumper is out of wack. Could be bad lighting or poor compression, I suppose. But the fact that the rest of the picture is fine confuses me. Ah well, probably just something I'm not thinking of.
Also, as for left/right steering wheel, you could flip that easily in any art program. And I don't know why they would have red sidemarkers on the front of a car. But I do believe they are in fact two different cars. Just trying to make things difficult.

Or maybe they just "flipped" the top photo to make it look like the steering wheel is on the left side. All you'd have to change is the RX-8 on the front, and that would be easy.
Or vice versa. But the guy on the bottom has his watch on his left wrist, which suggests to me it wasn't flipped.

its not flipped they had two cars at the press showing, 1 left hand drive and 1 right hand drive as was discussed in the thread about the article. the pics of the engine bay are the right hand drive one as can be seen by the clear turn signal lense. the pics of the dash are of the left hand drive model as blueadept pointed out that you could see the a pillar on the left.
