73JPS and I visited our Mazda dealer last night and he reported that there about 50 RX-8's being driven around the US (47) and Canada (3). Keep your eyes open!

 

I have had sighting in southbeach.

 

Nice! The color looks a lot like CYM in those pictures.

Pictures were taken at Mazda techinical center in Irvine Ca.
There was also a red and black cars inside a garage. They would not let me inside to see those. It appeared to me that there was a film truck there to shoot a commercial or video. Yellow looked great in person. Wish I could have seen the blue I ordered.

 

That color looks a lot more creme yellow than the sort of mustard yellow on the Mazda website.

God I wish they offered the mica yellow that I've seen on some Miatas.

Can you describe the yellow that you saw on the RX-8. Was it more of a mustard yellow?

 

Its hard to describe the color without a chart. I would not consider it a mustard yellow though. Did not look at all like the yellow of the Mazda 6. Looks very close the the color of the
Mitusbishi Lancer.
