Wow stainless. i can see why they are shiny. They are really nice.

But i agree with Kel, it puts too much bling on a sunlight silver. I have aluminum OEM fender strakes. They dont bling, But they're freakin' nice.

I'm really thinking about getting these off ebay like I said above. I have the DIY Billet grille like you have Ngo, but I have the front lisence plate, ugh. Don't you think it would look nice on the silvers? You can checkout my cardomain page for pictures of the car. www.cardomain.com/id/silverrrx8

Another question, hows the installation? Does the tape come in contact with the paint? If so, won't this damage/scratch?

the strakes from ebay are very finely polished. look better than OEM one on my TI car. you have to see it to appreciate it.

factory costs 195 plus tax.

Yeah, they're not cheap. DLS Customs here makes the most inexpensive ones I've found, and they're still about $95. I personally like the look of them, though, so I caved in and bought them from DLS, though I agree that accessories for the 8 are generally overpriced (i.e., $60 clear corners).

william, if you don't mind, can you take some up close pictures of the strakes. I'm really interested in purchasing these for my 8, however I've noticed that these a fairly thinner than the OEM / DLS Custom's strakes. Although they have more flash, to me, these arn't doing the trick from the pictures I've seen.

there are not thin as some might have thought. better quality and appearance than OEM in my opinion.
