Just bought an RX-8

Hey what's up, I just traded in my 02 Celica today for a 05 RX-8. It is a 6 speed Grand Touring with 48k. It has a Racing Beat exhaust and REVi intake on it. So far I love the car. I want to wax it and get it cleaned up and then I'm going to get better pictures of it.

First thing i would do is a nice drop. the racing beat midpipe sounds great with that exhaust and you can shoot some flames.

Nice and congrats on the car!

And I just realized, it looks like your car has different tires in the front than in the back...

I want to get coil overs for it, but I probably won't be doing that for a long time. The roads are pretty bad around here so I can't make the car too much lower

The car has different tires on the front and back. On the front they are Nankang tires, and the back are Bridgestone Potenzas

it has half painted red calipers? look at the left front one. it looked messed up

i walked away from it. seemed like a kid who did not take care of it had it.

what did you pay for it? i know they were asking way to much like 14.2k

It's from Baglier in Butler. I had everything taken care of before I bought it. I knew about the recall and it had a check engine light when I looked at it. They fixed everything and it runs great now. I noticed the caliper looks messed up too. I'll touch that up when I take the wheels off. I did that to my Celica and that caliper paint doesn't hold up very good. When I went there I was looking at that Whitewater Pearl one that they had, but I wanted something with lower miles and this one has all the options I wanted. I paid around $15,400 out the door, but I owed a $1000 more than what my Celica was worth. I'm very happy with it so far and I'm having a blast driving it.

Excellent choice in color.

Looks like it already has suspension mods done to it. I also see the calipers painted red.

Hey i got a question.. What do you think the lowest drop is that I could do and still get around in Pittsburgh? Do you think 2 inch would be too much?

I wouldn't go more than an inch with the way the roads are here.
