Interior pic w/ Premium floormat needed

OK, I've done a search but have come up empty. Anyone have a full interior shot with the Premium RX-8 floormats? The ones with "RX-8" written all over them in a diagonal direction? I know what the mat looks like up close, but want to see how they look and blend in with the entire interior as a whole.

At first glance they seem a bit over the top and maybe too garish. But a part of me thinks that they might actually look pretty good and contrast well with the aluminum trim parts. So any help with a full interior pic would be much appreciated. Thx.

I didn't think I'd use my all weather mats either--but its been raining for the past couple of weeks; so they're pretty usefull. I am thinkin of adding some heavyweight Lloyd mats--I put some in my moms SLK and they're are nice.

Thanks blue flash. But yours only has "RX-8" written 1 time? Kind of strange, 'cause the pics I've seen have "RX-8" all over 'em like these.

I'd like to see a pic that has the mats, dash and seats together to show how it goes with the interior as a whole. Thanks again.

None taken. Everyone has their own opinion. And we all know what opinions are like.....

At 2800 miles, I'm already wearing through the drivers mat with my right heel. Is there more to the premium mats than appearance?

Thanks my10ae! That's exactly the kind of shot I was looking for. I think they look great in your car, I really like how the red surging around the mat matches with the two tone red/black interior. Sigh, if only they had the mats with yellow trim.

I bet the grey mats would go nicely in your yellow 8. If you ever get a set, post up some pictures.

Yeah, I'm thinking of the grey, they should go with the aluminum trim. I like them, but my wife isn't sold yet, a bit busy for her. I may go the custom route and get a two tone black with yellow surging. I'll post whatever I end up getting.

Thank you again for the pic my10ae. Your car looks terrific!

Thanks for the pic My10AE, looks nice... finally saw a real pic of the mat!
Just a few questions if you dont mind. when I saw the unique shape of the mat I was just wondering, its a 1 piece right? And I presume it goes all the way behind to the back seat foot area?
How do you install it? Like slip it under the front seat?
And if Im not mistaken theres a hole in the back end of it, so does it hook up somewhere to fix the mat in place?

Any regrets buying it? Coz Im interested in buying a similar one, the one with the plated heel area... but damn the price is a ripoff.

Himitsu:

The mat set came in 4 piece's. The 2 front mats and then the 2 rear small mats. The premium mats do have the grommets to attach like the oem mats.

I have no regrets on getting these mats as the look great in the car.

:D

I ended up getting some custom floor mats done. I really wanted to bring in some yellow into the interior, so decided to hold off on the OEM premium floor mats.

I got them from GG Bailey. I'm quite impressed, custom made and delivered in about 4 days! The mats are very high quality, similar to those found in BMW and MB. It even has the hole/ring for the floor pin, just like the OEM RX-8 mat. And the best part is the heel pad, as the OEM mats seem to wear down in this area.
