I'm guessing the lenses were fogged over. Thats the only thing that could really cause that much of a distorted light pattern. Also, looks like he doesnt have the HIDs.

I see the same thing but to a lesser degree when I'm driving at night with my Xenons. Not sure if the car here had Xenons or not. But I think its the lens perhaps !?!

heh, you guys have it all wrong...

lights were not fogged up, nor did I even use the primaries. So the HIDs or lack thereof is irrelevant.

I'm suprised nobody thought why it is so orange..

I shot the picture just as my car was locking.. upon locking or unlocking the car blinks the parking lights, which is what you're seeing there.

I picked up on the orange.....but you did call this thread "Interesting HEADLIGHT pattern". Not surprising a few who didn't click on the fingernail didn't notice it....

That was my initial thought.. but the 'headlight pattern' is what threw me off.

oh! heh, I guess that would throw people off... But yes, the pattern is produced from the headlights. My first assumption was incorrect, it wasn't from the parking lights, rather it's the signal lights.

If you look closely, you will see the the yellow bulbs behind the strake designs. The reflector design behind the bulb attributes to the mean looking projection..

If you look closely at the lights, it looks like it reads "Hail Ya", as in "HELL YEAH!"

Sorry, I'm bored and going through old threads...

I'm surprised no one else has mentioned the big "M" in each pattern.

Mine looks exactly the same. I tried my emergency blinkers while facing a wall, and I get the same devilish scratch marks. It is scary.
