I found this picture of a silver RX8 on some web site from New Zealand. It looks like it has burnt orange colored interior highlights. I hope this is one of the color schemes offered because I love it.

That's actually the RX-EVOLV, the concept car on which the RX-8 is based. It's probably 2+ years old.

Saying this, I would imagine that color could be available. I too think it looks great. The Miata has a similar color, an almost turquiose blue that is very shiny.

I like that combo too.

 

I'll take one definitely. It will go well with my silver 93FD.

yeah, that is the RX-EVOLVE paint job. It's called Evolve Purple Metalic. I have that paint job on my RX-8 in Grand Turismo. But im know shure if it's gonna be available for production model though.

To me, that "burnt orange color" looks pretty close to the interior color available in the Miata 2002 Special Edition car with the dark gray "gunmetal" color.

I don't know if I want that color on the interior, but I want another "Arctic Blue" type of silver that I had on my '86 RX7.
