Thought I would share...

I was pulled over yesterday because my car was "on fire" and that I needed to get it fixed. I told the officer: "wow, yeah my check engine light has been on and idk what could cause that so I am taking it into the shop friday." lol. No ticket or anything, he just wanted to let me know something was wrong with my car.

Up until today, I had never seen my car pop flames, (because no one else drives my car) so I decided to have my friend tape it. I promise it does not sound this raspy in person. The video has horrible sound quality because it was shot from my phone.

The flames look cool but aside from the obvious exhaust modification that car is lookin pretty stock...

 

It pretty much is... I have no money for mods after gas and insurance.

Pretty much all I have is Racing Beat Header, TurboXS exhaust with race pipe, and AEM cold air intake.

 

LOL yea I hear ya on the gas part of it! The longer you own it the more money you will find to put into it.

 

making minimum wage doesn't help a bit. I have a Cobb AP and a handful of gauges so it looks like nitrous is next on the list

It was either that one or the one of me roasting marshmallows at a dyno event courtesy of a Boost'd 8's flame throwing exhaust.

I have to question the story of being pulled over for the flames... I can't imagine you get flames during reasonably casual driving. Did you get pulled over for more than just flames? lol

 

There is a nice, 9 mile squiggly road that I was driving down and its 55mph with suggested 20mph turns, etc. But there is a stop sign at the bottom and I redlined first and shifted to second and let off the gas when I reached 55 and pop, lights, license and registration.

 

Now that I'm somewhat near you, when is the next epic dyno day?
