I just get my car yesterday and Winter decides to make a late reappearance here, what a bummer! Anyway once the weather clears up I will be posting some new pics, and a few vids of my 8 before and after I install my B&b exhaust and my RE cold air intake. Anyone see a robin yet?

 

Kcobra - As a matter of fact I saw a dozen or so last week in your area. They'll be back next weekend... Think long term and last week won't seem so bad.

willhave8- Hope your right about the weather, and I have to agree with you on not seeing many other 8's on the road around here, actually I don't remember seeing any yet. But I don't think that will last too long. It will be kind of hard to keep this car a secret. At least it should never be as bad as my last car a (98 Mustang GT) where you see 3 or 4 every 5 miles. Anyway I'll keep my eye out for ya and good luck with your 8.

 

thats crazy...does the snow have any kind of effect on the paint?i wouldn't know..i live in L.A.

 

It shouldn't if you take care of it. You definetely have to clean and wax your car more often (once a month for me) and I since I don't have a garage I've always used car covers. I ordered the Mazda RX8 cover but have not received it yet. You just have to remember to never put your car under the cover wet or dirty. My Mustang still looked new after 5 years and 30,000 miles with this method. I never drove it in the rain or snow so I don't know how much that would affect it. Oh and one other thing "ZAINO!" I haven't found anything that beats it yet.

I SAW A ROBIN THIS MORNING!!!

 

Saw a Robin and had to mow my grass yesterday. What a way to ring in Spring. If the weather holds out I may give my 8 some TLC and finish installing my Escort 8500 R/D.

 

Robin sighted here in MN last Wednesday so I got the 8 out of storage. No snow in the forcast for the next 5 days!
