Yea I had a huge dent in my rear panel that I had popped out through my dealer that I was a manager for over the summer. It was 125 dollars with my discount.
Looks near perfect, however it is NOT PERFECT and there are a couple of cracks in the paint from the dent creases.

that's REALLY sucks. i'm sorry to see that. my other car was shot at a few weeks ago, just a random innocent bystander. did some damage to my spoiler and roof. i know how that feels. i was PISSED and then some. **** happens, and hit and run, there's nothing you can do but at least your insurance will take care of it. as for the bastard who did it, what goes around comes around. good luck w/ the repairs

yea ive only had mine a few weeks and already got a door ding.... I think happened at work too. Private parking lot in back reserved for only six people at my company... Is ok I installed a wifi camera in an office that overlooks the parking lot where I park (nobody knows I installed it). I keep the vid screen up on my second monitor all day I'll catch who I think it is. Then make them pay or get them fired.

I had the exact same hit n run on my car... happened 2 weeks after I bought it. same fender. I was on campus and even parked far from any buildings... there were no cars near mine when i parked it nor when I went back to it after class, its like someone ran into it on purpose. it sucks but that can be fixed.

I've been in NYC metro area (NJ and Long Island) and I've been paranoid about getting a nice car because people will make an extra effort to diss your property. All of my company cars had the door dings. Even when you park your car far away from other cars, there are always some weirdos who take the time to park his crapper (usually a pretty beat up or super-riced up beater) right next to you.
Here in Tokyo (or Japan in general), people are a little more considerate to other people's properties. So, I am at easy getting a car like RX8 or other nice sporty cars.
But, I am going back to the States. So, I need to learn to manage my paranoia there.

Yeah, I've had a couple of situations like that before. The most recent was during the Christmas shopping season when I came outside in the freezing cold to find my RX-8 which I parked against a curb WAAAAAY away from the building (and other cars) with a huge extended cab truck less than 5 inches away from the drivers side door. There was no possible way I could open it let alone get into the drivers side door. I stared at it for a second before I decided to smash in all the windows of the truck with my fire extinguisher. Right before I did, some dumb blonde girl came up to the truck. I was like "Is this your truck?" (clearly ready to murder her and hide the body) She said, "Um....... ....yes?" I said, "Move it. I cannot get in my car." I've never seen someone move a truck that fast.
