I've seen quite a few posts lately where people have commented that they don't know how to make their images smaller.

For those with Windows XP, use the above link to take you to the XP Powertools site. Get the Image Resizer powertool.
After installing, just right-click on a picture file, select Resize Picture, pick the size you want.....there you have it. It's very self explanitory and the resized pictures look great (it doesn't alter your original unless you make it).
