These guys are surprised at the heat from redlining a rotary that long? LOL. Anyone else also notice the low oil pressure.

looks like i'm a little late reading this thread, but...
i agree with smacktard: bastards. i only find one good thing in the whole affair. would a piston engine have lasted as long in similar abuse?

In the beginning he already stated the rear rotor already lost compression which is why they were amazed the car worked at all like it did. They already had to pull the motor out. I thought it was a pretty cool testament to the motor. Of course, with a real world load, I doubt it would have spun so easily.
