Nice pix on your site Showanddrift... wish HIN LA was like that, where you can actually see the cars. I know they call it NIGHTS, but jeez, let people see what they came to see :P

The GReddy RX-8 in the pics is Shawrf's car. He must have changed body kits again.

 

Your exactly right about being able to see the cars Outlaw. Half of the vehicles are in the dark and the ones that arent have crowds around them and you can't get a decent photo.

We are working on a triple gauge pod next for the owners without Nav.

 

I might hit up a SJ meet but that is a little far from where I am. I am closer to Sacramento/Davis area. If we can set up a meet around there or Concord I would be able to make it out there and cover the meet on the website.

 

You sure it's his car? The reason is because that rear has a different plate.. I could have sworn I saw California plates when he showed up to the meets here in OC.

Art MTN? hmm...

 

Planning to go to HID in San Diego? or Anaheim show later this year? The kit would certainly be different from the norm we usually see.

Btw, did you get anything for your trouble for showing up with your car at HIN? :P

 

Beautiful kit, it is the first RX-8 kit I really like other then the Mazdaspeed one. Hmmmm.... decisions, decisions.

 

Outlaw, That is Shawrf1's 8. The kit probably changed because of RJ's (RJ Devera)affiliation with Veilside.

I don't believe I will be back down for a HIN show but possibly some drifting events.

We brough the car down for Display purposes only. It is not ready for Competition yet and with my team mates Endless rx7 competing in the Mazda class I would have no chance. He didn't even win by the way.

My 8 will hopefully be fully completed by SEMA time. Audio, Brakes, Forced Induction, Interior, Etc....

 

Looking good.. See that's what I mean when I told this other user about the possibility of winning anything at HIN shows.. it takes a LOT of stuff to even be a winner now. Tons of money and connection required.

I think that Endless 7 looks good.. but it's been out for too long, so needs new blood for winning anything. :P RX-8 cars could be that new niche..

 

Anyone else notice that the kit eliminates the side lights? No more clear corners if you get that kit.

 

I have no use for side markers that don't blink. That is why we deleted them from the final mold. Also for those owners that haven't bought clear corners they can save the money and put it towards the shipping or something.

outlaw: Yep, that's my ArtMtn '8... Veilside is the sponsored kit, but the RE_Amemiya front remains my daily-driven bumper of choice (the fogs are killer bright!). I've never had a CA plate... my '8 is registered in my state of residence (my last duty station) and will keep my car exempt from CA smog laws.

I knew that was a car I've seen.. but the front threw me off.. hehehe.

 

It was my pleasure Rob, Your 8 is definitely Hot! I will bring my 8 down when the next Drifting event pops up. HIN was too crazy with all the crowds and I had a CD sampler hit the top of my car from the Pepsi stage but luckily it didnt do anything. I will make sure I am not near a stage again.
