Help!!! Yay or Nay?!?

I currently have the chrome stocks wheels and my birthday was just a couple days ago so i'm lookin to get some wheels. Found these and needs opinions asap. They are 20's and have 40mm offset in the front and 25mm offset in the back. He's selling them to me for $550 because the rear wheels are gonna need tires very soon.

Opinions!!!! Thanks(:

Check the "will it fit" thread but I think you will find the rear offset is too small and you will end up rubbing, the stock is 45 or 50 front and rear.

Nay for multiple reasons...

one being that knowing offset is useless when we don't know the width of the wheel.

Yeah, it's embarassing.

It's like my dog. She is a great looking pup. But when she takes a dump, she looks embarassed and awkward.

<- see the slant? That's unfortunate camber.

Nay - but if you do it anyway - are you in Monroe, Wa? I might want those OEM chromes if they're in good condition.

Did you photoshop those wheels on? I think they look good. They might rub I am unsure of that, but I think 20's look okay on the 8, but you may need 275/30 r 20 tires and I am unsure the price of those. I definately wouldn't go bigger though. They are starting to look to big there. But it is your car and you have to do what you like and what you are proud of. I got 19x9.5 all around my car.

No, I'm from Monroe, Ohio and yes they are in good condition. I would keep em but i'm going for more of a aftermarket look. But I didn't Photoshop them on I just rolled one up next to my wheel and took a pic.

+1 on Autornd

Rishie's a good guy.

cam: $1k might get you some weak sized XXR's or Rotas. If you don't mind rockin' them then you should be ok. Otherwise you may wanna look on other forums like the evo forums or something for a decent used set. Most 'halfway decent' wheels w/weak specs BNIB are approximately $200 (<==stretch) each which totals out to be $800 - then to keep it under 1k you'd have to find some used tires.

my advice: save your money - roll on stockers for a bit then spend the money on something legit
