Hawt Guys with your RX8s..please post a pic (Part2)
All right, I am new here and I won't get my 8 until September, but have been haunting (lurking) in these forums since I discovered them in '05 and have known I was going to buy the 8 since I first heard of them in '03. Delays brought to in part by Uncle Sam.
First one is me and my not 8. Second is Oktoberfest in Afghanistan. NA beer.

WOW!! Always my favorite...Army men in gear holding there guns!!
Yeah I would hope so, burn through about 400ish gallons in roughly two hours and thirty or 45 minutes. BTW turbines have almost no torque either. Get the torque from the gearing. From however many bazillion rpm at the engine to 200 and some change at the main rotor. As for MPG, at the most efficient its about 2 gallons to the mile, at worst (hover) its zero.

I appreciate you fellas Chief - you're always looking out when I am doing my thing (even if buzzing by at 8 meters while I am underwater scares the pee pee out of me).
Thanks Kane, of course our purpose in life is firepower on call, having a little fun from time to time is to be expected. Although I expect I haven't personally flown over you as I am a long way from water, unless you are diving the Tigress or Lake Tartar.
First things first. Enough with the sirs, Chris or "the guy who scares the pee-pee out of me," or jackass will do fine.
Those pictures are from Afghanistan Mar04-Mar05, currently I am out of Balad, land of the REMFs, although my first 4 months in country were out of Basrah.

Yep - good old Balad; tell your buddies; I know what they did; and payback is a bitch!
I am at the tail end of my 15 months; 2 months left. If you are ever in or around Kuwait Naval Base - look up the 7th Dive Team; I can arrange some traspo - https://www.rx8club.com/general-automotive-49/looky-what-i-found-turbo-125659/

I just reread, I wasn't in Iraq in April, we arrived in June. I don't come back for good until Septemberish. Too bad as that transpo looks like it could be fun. I am actually not currently in Iraq, its a longish story, but was an hour out from Nurnburg for R+R when my wife fell down the stairs and broke her hip, so now I am home until late Jan, then back til September. One way to get the deployment back down to 12 months I suppose. Anyway this has gone way off topic and I didn't mean to Hijack Leesha's thread.
My apologies.
My apologies.
Merry Christmas indeed Leesha, looking very nice and so is your 8, red would be my second choice. I am obsessive enough to have a black though, and I will. By the way, my wife insists that I post this pic as well.
Kane: Ok removed pic...may post later...

Although I do store it in the cockpit with me.
