I always liked how this look, but never knew why it was so expensive.

I like. Nice ride.
I was considering one of these, but the handling isnt what I wanted and the braking either so I kinda scratched it off the list and went with the rx8.

Very nice ride. GTO's are one of the better cars Pontiac sold.

Black on black looks great! Is it an M6 or A4? Mods other than wheels?

I'm thinking about getting a torrid red GTO. I hear theyre fast.

BTW is this video fake? I heard if you try to turn a GTO, they either spin uncontrollably or flip over? Or if it gets anywhere near a parking lot with orange cones, it causes a massive tear in the fabric of the universe, ending the existence of everything?

yah, 6.0L engine... I don't believe your "autocross" comment. It's just not possible, although I would like to hear more about your fictitious story.

Talonhand, do you still have the GTO or did you trade it in on an RX8?

lol, thanks for all the feedback guys. I still have it, and with a few suspension mods, it actually handles a lot better than stock. I put a Hotchkis front and rear swaybar with Whiteline end-links and Pedders 3/8" drop front and 0" drop springs out back. I also have some Superpro radius rod bushings. The cars' stock suspension is actually quite decent, the bushings and stock shocks/struts are what kills it. This car just GOES. I really like the raw power, but I also like the finesse that my 8 has. I can truly say I have respect for both cars and what they were made for.

GTOs are boring looking! They sure are fast though. But if I had to spend that much money, I would get a vette. :D It's just my opinion...... good choice in color though!

By the way I love those interiors on the GTO.

The back ends are eay to spin out.

Except you have good mods.... Nice car almost bought one myself.

Looks hot! Temperature wise that is. Must feel like a few hundred degrees inside after parking outside for a few hours! Very clean car though.

I once rode with a guy who had just bought a black GTO. He put this monster exaust on it, but he had the automatic.. I called him a *****.

But what got me is that I was thinking "Ok, this car probably costs 28-30k, it's big, ugly, but goes fast so that's fair".

So I had to ask, and his reply was $42,000. I couldn't believe it, I thought he was ******* with me but it turned out to be true..

I almost got one too. I test drove a sweet black on black, but i never had the chance to get pushed into my seat and the it felt heavy when turning. I love the power but the handling and floaty feel turned me off.

Nice pics!
