darn..thats brutal..... I'd say..ebay! you can get a used stock rim in good condition for really cheap...or craigslist! I would hold out for aftermarket wheels and stuff til christmas over and you get your tax return..haha well..unless you got lots of extra cash laying around...haha

As mentioned, it's too cold in NY to run performance tires in winter. Read up on winter tires if you have not. They're not just for ice and snow.

Don't forget this will show up on carfax too if you report this.

Like others have said, get a used rim here or off ebay. Then get your car checked out and if all looks good dont file a claim. Not only will your insurance go up, but then there is your deductible, which Im guessing is about $500.

Ouch, thats horrible. +10 on worst rash I've seen, and the tire still holding air.

I'd replace the rim for now.. but keep this in mind. With the CR, you've got the different color rims from what everyone else has..

You may not care, you can always get it painted to match and it is better than nothing but.. just wanted to remind you.

Glad you're okay, the body is okay and its just a rim.

That sucks! Look slike you're lucky you didn't rip the body up though, so that is good! If money's short (and when is it not?!), I'd hit the for sale section on the site up for a rim.

And definitely agree with Altspace's recommendation on getting some snows. This will be my car's first winter, and I was really amazed at how bad the performance tires handle when it's cold...even when it's dry out
