Not bad for a start, but there's two things you need to keep in mind-
1) Lens flare = bad. Never use it.
2) Subtle changes are the best. Adding in the blur is a cool idea, however, you blurred it too much and you need to work on your edges. Are you using layers to do this? Get familiar with the pen tool and search for a tutorial. It'll help you a ton.

ya~ it would be nice if someone can teach me how to make the night sky look red-ish...that picture was actually my first photoshop ,(everyone got to start somewhere right?)
