The paint around the rear tail light assembly started flaking off.... So I had to let them repaint the rear quarter...

What is that in the backgound of the first pic? Not the houses ... it's that ... light. Is that sunlight??? Gosh it was good to see that again this weekend.

Great pics and glad to see she's back!

Is this an indication that perhaps initially the paint job on the rx8s is not good. Not just yours but other rx8s aswell.

Bye

The paint itself is beautiful... But I own a 2003 Jetta and it seems that the RX-8's paint is more fragile.... The paint flaking was due to improper sanding of the panel, according to the dealership.. Oh well, Im happy again =) It was the longest two weeks of my life... ok, maybe im exaggerating =P

Nope, just painted, with the vinyl caliper stickers. Been through 2 car washes and still staying tight... I think they are actually becoming fused to the caliper with the heat.
