First meeting in Switzerland

Last saturday, we did our first RX8 meeting :D

We were 9 people and 4 RX8. One car came specially from Spain to participate to this meeting ! Thanx to you and your wife, Carlos; it was a great pleasure to meet you.

During this day, we drove in the montain and did 4 passes (remember, we are in Switzerland :D ) in the morning. At noon, we ate some bison steak .
After a visit of the natural parc, where you can see bisons, wolves and bears, we finished the journey at my home. It was a really great day and we'll probably organize an other meeting later on this year.

So, you can find some pictures there:

cosmos...

Thanks for the pictures. It allows us to visit your country, at least digitally. The cars look great! It must have been an awesome day.

Nice Photos, great backgound, I have always liked Bison (to look at) and my favorite musician is from Switzerland - Andreas Vollenweider.

Speaking of musicians. I love the 80's melodic bands.

Check out the guitarist I listen to too much.

Anyone heard of him.

Nice pics, I really like the scenery. I have never seen pics of an RX-8 meet that included pics of bison and a bear. I had bison the last time I was in Texas and really liked it.

BTW---I thought the bison was indigenous to North America?

Yes, of course

It's just a kind of attraction parc . But it allowed us to discuss something else but cars :D (nice for the accompanist!)

Great idea. Frequently your significant other does not share your passions.

Good job.

Nice pics. Loved the Rotary-bashing-piston decal on the red RX-8.

Be warned, pistons are known to travel in large groups. (j/k)

The sunroof is available as an option. But we do not have the cruise control, even as an option (in fact I think that whole Europe don't have this option?)

Great pictures. What kind of side mirrors are on the red 8? I've seen the Mazdaspeed and stock mirrors, but that one looks different.

Those side mirrors are part on the RX8 options brochure that Mazda Swiss propose, like fender strakes, areo flares, etc.

I like Swtizerland a lot! My favorite is Furka-pass, especially by night and in a snowfall Was glad to find Hotel Tiefenbach to save the day.

Enjoy the ride !

To answer cosmos,

Here in France, the sunroof is not available, nor the cruise ctrl.
Nevertheless, there's a list of accessories provided by Mazda France such as mirrors, sport suspension, some alu stuff etc.

By the way cosmos, about the cool decal of the red RX-8 (post of rx-8_or_?) Do you where to buy it ?

Thanks

This sticker have been made by Boborx8'uncle. He made only one sticker at the moment; but, I reached Boborx8 yesterday and he told me that he could make some more.
So I suggest that you PM directly Boborx8 to have more info about the aviability of this sticker.
