Finally out of the cave
Well time has finally come and the turbo is complete. I would first like to say a big thank you to Charles R. Hill, MazdaManiac and Mysql. Each time I have needed something Charles has been there for me(even his quiet time.) Charles came down from Detroit to stay with me for a weekend to insall the manifold, turbo, and downpipe. He rebuilt my turbo and heat wrapped the mainfold and downpipe for me. We would have done more but due to a used incomplete kit I had a few set backs.
MazdaManiac has answered my messages when I needed them most. With the awesome AP and the service he provides for all of us is far beyond what any of us expected. Even questions not related to cars have been answered by him with detail.
Mysql is a close friend to me and lives just a few miles away. Everytime I have questions about FI applications and how things work and how they go on he is there even when I ask the same damn thing over and over. I am new to this stuff but learn hands on. I can't thank Mysql enough. He has provided me with everything I have needed so far and vise versa.
Here is my car finished with the turbo kit installed. I need to redue my vacuum lines when I install my boost controller so right now it's just 5psi. I am running off of the AP a/f ratio display which is accurate. I will have my Wideband installed soon. I dont have any interior shots of the boost gauge but you guys know what it looks like. I'll have scenery pics on Monday. It was raining out and the sky looked crappy plus I only have a Samsung digimax.

I plan on hitting the dyno but don't know when. It feels a lot stronger down low. I want the stock look but with MM's intake it needs to sit lower and be titled a bit. The MS front/kit is to popular. I want to put more into getting the car running strong and healthy. Plus the stock look looks really good. I get a lot of good replys on it. It looks really aggressive.

That looks very good. Nice clean and simple, and I read that the AP was doing a great job for you with even the "base" tune. I don't recall, you have the original Greddy Kit with fixes correct?

Original GReddy with the Fix#2. . The base tune rocks so far. For me it was plug and go. My car has run very strong from day one and I hope it continues that way. Right now my thinking is if it isn't broke dont fix it.

Whoneedspiston: I will be at any meet I can attend. Usually the meets fall on days I am working, which isn't much.
Mysql: I need to redue my vacuum lines. What else do you see?
Razz1: Unfortunatly nothing about the avatars. I heard Charles Hill just got a sweet pad so they may be coming from there in the future.
Thanks all for the replys. I need a better camera and will be going on Monday to get some good pics with my buddy. He just got a RHD Nissan Cedric.

Police: GRATS man on getting the kit installed. It definitely pays to have such great friends who can help out with questions, installs, etc.
Can't wait to hear your reviews once you kick the boost up a bit.

the recirculate coupler is bent back a bit, I would reroute that line too.
the CAI filter is resting on the bottom tray. I would loosen it, straighten it out so the arm is horizontal, then re tighten the couplers.

05rx8mazda: I'll let Charles say what he charges to install the complete kit. It's competitive though. The kit is easy once the manifold and turbo is on. If you have never done and are not familiar with it I would have someone do it for you. I did everything but the turbo and manifold by myself. I wanted to learn how my kit operates and for me having someone else install everything would not have given me the knowledge I feel one should know when going FI.
