I agreee to leave the headlights unless you just want to get some eyelids that run with the line of the hood.

Looks good tho =]

Needs to be lowered ;-]

I want to but it's also a daily driver which makes me nervous for scrapes/bumps and bruises. I have a 3000 mile round trip road trip coming up soon too. I'm taking the 8

Thanks! I'm pretty much done with exterior mods with the exception of painted calipers maybe (some tone of blue).

I want to jump under the hood next but do so without voiding the warranty.

I'm looking to add an improved air intake (cold or not) with some HP gains that doesn't void the warranty. Any recommendations?

Okay, Ex-Eight, this is not me being jealous as hell because I wanted a Sky Redline and an RX-8 R3 but could only afford one or the other, but...you suck!

Seriously, though, great looking stable and a perfect tint on the R3. I had a ceramic tint put on my blue R3 this morning. Cloudy in Chicago today so pics will have to wait.

You add a black (or blue) Shelby GT500 to that list of cars you had better clear a room 'cause I'm moving in!

Looks great man!

If i were you i wouldn't worry to much about problems with doing a modest drop.. S-techs will give you a nice drop all around and very little worries about bottoming out.

I, like many here have ran them and I think it would be a good investment man..

BTW-- nothing shines better then black -- great choice in color

It's hard to compare them. The Sky first off is an Auto but I think I like it that way. It's more of a just cruise around car than try to tear **** up car. It's straight line speed is amazingly fast compared to the RX-8. It gets a TON of looks from people anywhere, especially gas stations. People are like what kind of car is that? I'm like "Saturn Sky" then they usually go "that's a F**king Saturn?!". That's the best part lol.

But yeah it's so hard to compare a convertible two seater turbo to an R3. It depends on what you wanna do on the road. When I've just had a shitty day at work and want to take out frustration the R3 is great for letting me go 9k rpms and whirl around corners. When I just want to cruise to the store for a case of beer or something a topless drive in the sun is refreshing.

My advice - get both!

Thanks - it's just so damn hard to keep black clean!

It's 12% on rear windows and 25% on the four driver/passengers windows.

Have to say, that's probably the only R3 I've liked so far since I don't like the front end redesign, but yours I like.

If that is the stock height then damn with the side skirts it looks lowered, as low as mine but the fenders given away the real height. They must of really added some material to the side skirts and front bumper for a lowered look. Pro is obviously it looks good, con is if you want to lower the car to get the fender aligned up for a better look you're gonna have a hard time with how low the side skirt and front bumper already are.

Nice. A tint job really helps to finish off the car.

I'd probably have to do a lighter tint on the front windows as UK law states that side and front windows have to allow 70% light through as a minimum.
