MS Aero Mirrors Installed

Finally got my MS aero mirrors installed today - wierd how something so simple can change the whole look of the car. Very happy with the final look of this round of mods! Tints next and maybe thats it for a while

Look great man, the whole car looks good.

I am curious as too how the mirrors mount. I guess I am just wondering why they don't fit in the corner of the window frame rather than overlapping the body?

I thought the mirrors were nice, until I scrolled down to the shots of your whole car. Holy cow, the entire car is nice! Which front end is that? R Magic? I really like it.

Yeah, I hadn't noticed t before. They are the real MS parts for the UK distributer, they mount the same way as the stock ones, but I guess because of th shape they need a bit of extra support via the bodywork.

Thanks, its the INGS+1 N spec front. Check out my sig for mods.

I did think about this, and I know of at least one person in the UK that has done it. As long as you degrease and get a good palstic primer it works well. Also Run Racing (see the Exterior forum for a link) do a set of covers for the stock ones, but I don't like the little extra flanges and stuff they put on them.

General fittment is good, but I think they look worse as I haven't had a chance to clean up the exess black gungy stuff my mate used to ensure there wasn't any air gaps / hence wind noise.

Mikeb, do you have the MS ones or Vivid's gandor mirrors? They are a bit smaller, but I actually find them a bit easier to see out of - haven't had any motorway (freeway/interstate) driving with them yet, so time will tell. What with them being smaller and my MS wing taking up some of the rear window... The price we pay for looking good LOL!
